Chocolate Peppermint and Pineapple Mint uses, please!

I’ve two mint plants in my garden, pineapple mint and chocolate peppermint. Both are growing healthily and fast, and I’m having to trim them back. Trouble is, I don’t want to waste them, but I’ve no idea what to do with them, having only ever used mint in savoury dishes! Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

You could make mint juleps. Or just make the mint syrup part and use it to flavor the beverage of your choice. Or drizzle over fruit and/or ice cream for a nice dessert.
Or mail it to me. I love fresh mint. :wink:

Try your hand at making your own herbal tea. I know that mint goes lovely with spicy-hot flavor in savory dishes, so it might be interesting to try your chocolate mint with cinnamon. If herbal tea isn’t your, er, cup of tea; I’d suggest going a step further than what dwyr suggested and try making some mint ice cream. The mint syrup recipe in the link should suffice for flavoring it.
