I keep ketchup in the fridge because it starts to taste funny if it’s kept out for more than a couple of weeks. Chocolate syrup I keep in the cupboard, because it doesn’t seem to go off. We have a small fridge so I have to think carefully about my refrigeration priorities.
Incidentally, about the whipped cream thing – I once used whipped cream in a sexual encounter. Never again. Just minutes after it was smeared on hot skin I could detect that sour milk smell. Ick. So, no more dairy products in bed with me! (Btw you can find non-dairy whipped “cream” products specifically for use with sex, but they taste of artificial fruit flavours.)
