Christine O'Donnell has replaced Palin in my heart of hearts...

Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute. Hold the goshdarned phone.

They’re remaking Red Dawn?!?!?!

Release date uncertain due to financial issues.

Everybody knows your puns are usually Occidental.

Careful. I heard she has crab rangoon.

That’ll teach 'em to pirate our God Fearing, Commie Killing DVD’s.

America, Oorah!

Hey, it’s been a week since she made a fool of herself.

O’Donnell thinks we [the U.S.] fought the Soviet Union in Afghanistan in the 80’s and 90’s.

Right off the top, before we determine who was fighting whom, I’d like to know where she found Soviets in the 90’s…

Thank you, Christine, for what we have received. :stuck_out_tongue:

Don’t you recall the great documentary Rambo III?

She also said that Coons will vote with Harry Reid “lock step and barrel”. Gold, I tells ya.

You’d think a real Tea Party patriot would have her gun metaphors well in hand…

I’m waiting for some of our local teabaggers to come in and declare her decisive victory over Coons.

And just who might those be, perchance?

We can’t tell, they are so diverse and decentralized, they could be anybody!

Excellent point, and one which begs the question of how Merijeek could know any are here in the first place. He certainly sounded sure enough.

Well O’Donnell has proven her tea party cred with an inability to name a recent Supreme Court decision she disagreed with. Apparently, she’s been studying with Palin. I particularly like that she asked the moderator for a hint.

You know it’s funny, I can’t remember a single time when a Democratic politician or would-be politician was asked what magazines they read, or to recite the name of a Supreme Court decision in a debate. I can think of lots of Supreme Court decisions I’ve disagreed with over the years but I couldn’t name most of them to save my life and I’d bet there isn’t a poster on this board who couldn’t say the same. These are nothing but “gotcha” questions deliberately intended to make the candidate look bad.

“Mr. Coons, how many people went down on the Titanic?”

“Ms. O’Donnell, can you name them please?”

That’s because the Dems don’t select people as stupid as you or the bigoted morons you support.

nm

The last resort of the poor Republicans-whining about how the media is so unfair to their widdle candidate. After all, she shouldn’t be expected to be acquainted with any Supreme Court decisions. It’s not like Citizens United was discussed earlier in the debate (except that it was). And, of course, how could they ask her to actually cite the actual name of a case (except that they didn’t). Also, it wasn’t like she asked them to give her a hint despite the fact that they were asking for her own opinion (except that she did). If she has said that she could not remember specific names but cited any issue that had been decided, even one she agreed with, I might have given her a pass. Asking the moderator to tell you your own opinion, though, is beyond stupid.

I think that this demonstrates the difference between Republicans and Democrats. The Democrats want their candidates to be actually aware of the issues; to understand them and be able to discuss them intelligently. The Republicans want their candidates to repeat talking points and parrot back the party line.

Good. Now make it a general principle.

Don’t push your luck. I decided to cut you some slack because the election’s around the corner and it’s becoming obvious that you and a lot of other posters around here are starting to lose your cool. But if you want to keep acting like an asshole I can do that too.
