The cards are bought, the notes are written, the envelopes are addressed–and the post office is closed all week for Eid al Adha. :mad: I’ll mail them Sunday when the post office re-opens.

Eek! Sorry everyone, but by a strange quirk (spouse was supposed to mail them and then forgot where he left them) that I just found out today, they won’t actually get into the mail tomorrow. 
Hopefully there’s a youngster or two who’ll be glad to have something right before the big day instead of earlier. Yeah, that’s the ticket!

Unfortunately, I can never seem to catch any of ours in the really cute poses. They seem to have an instinct for when I go and get a camera and immediately jump up to see what I’m doing.

I didn’t get the cards in the mail until the 14th, so they may not arrive before X-mas. Sorry. :o My excuse is the post office was closed for several days for a Muslim holiday. I’ll do better next year!
Well I loved getting the cards from you guys. OK< I know they were for my kids but I had fun too. Mine are in the mail but I don’t know if they are there yet. I would like to make this a DopeRitual. Maybe next year I can do it but start the thread in the last week of November and set up something more like twickster did for the Secret Santa so that it’s more organized.
Of course, everyone got my cards without pics because I *still *haven’t printed those out.

I misunderstood the instructions (how many times in life have I said this?!) and added my name to the list of receivers when I agreed to send to the kids. I can’t believe how happy receiving the cards has made me, so I’m glad for my goofy mistake.
I sent cards to all my friends in RL’s little ones too- I decided on 12 and under and the response has been so good that this will be my new tradition. Sending cards to kids got me into the holiday spirit.
I’m about to leave my ‘good’ computer for the slow crappy (I’ll-only-be-able-to-get-on-once-at-midnight) one at my parents, so I just wondered if any of my cards showed up or if I need to lynch the Other Half for not having carried out his husbandly postal duty. Anyone?

My daughter is staying with her grandma until Christmas Eve, so she hasn’t seen these yet. Yes, I peeked at them so I could thank everyone (and just because I’m having too much fun with them. She won’t mind, I promise). faithfool, it was all I could do not to open the teeny present. How CUTE! She’s going to have so much fun with that.
