Once again it’s time to ask if anyone wants to receive or send Christmas cards to Doper kids. As in previous years, if you want to send cards or receive them for your children, post and let me know.
For privacy, I will collect names, ages, and addresses of recipient children by PM, and provide them to the senders also by PM.
Put me down for sending.
Since some people may not do linkeys -------- the idea behind this is some kids really get a kick out of getting cards addressed to them and not just being part of the usual address of “Doper X and Family”. So Book assembles two lists — one of Dopers willing to send cards and one for a list of kids to get such cards. With the way we’re spread out it can get the rugrats in question cards from all over the world. And some of those who send will shop for special cards so if your kid is a certain age or has certain interests (Kid Y is 5 and loves soccer) let us know – at least age if you can so we can pick a good design and all.
It is still worth hitting the link to the past thread but at least this way you get a basic idea and mistake it for an easy way to dispose of unwanted children. Like selling them to medical research. 
I’ll do it again. I didn’t get any feedback last year telling me if the kids liked their cards/stickers.

Well, this appears to be a dead thread. I’ll try again next year.
I participated in this in years past, never got any feedback or acknowledgement of reciept. That’s why I didn’t sign up this year, sorry.
