Christmas Eve

Let me make this clear: “Christmas Eve” is not the same as “the day before Christmas”! Christmas Eve is the evening before Christmas. It starts when evening starts, be that 6:00pm, sunset, or whenever. It does not start at noon. If you say “Happy Christmas Eve”, I get to say “Not yet!” if it’s 2:33pm.

Ho ho ho.

You’re a mean one, MrNeutron.

My dad’s a teacher, and my mom worked at a university, so they both had Christmas eve off. We had a long-standing party at our place for family and friends in the afternoon, with present opening that night, so for us, the whole day was Christmas Eve. Nyah.

Well I hope yours is better than mine considering I just got fired today. Happy holidays.

Christmas Eve, aye? Eh?

Slight hijack, but my condolences, Obsidian Flutterby. :frowning:

Ack, boo, hiss! Bad show!

Obsidian Flutterby, this Santa’s got something nastier than coal for your former employer’s stocking…

[sub]Unless of course, it was gross incompetence on your part that got you fired. But I’m thinking this ain’t the case. Sorry to hear it.[/sub]

What kind of boss fires someone on Christmas Eve?

My condolences.

Obsidian Flutterby, What a bummer!! But, don’t blame Christmas just because you have (had) an asshole employer.
