I’m all done. Been done for weeks (actually, since September). Now all I have to do is wrap the lot of it and would have been done with it all last night except I ran out of xmas paper.

Nope, 'cause I’ve been done for months. It’s a standing family joke. But, this way I get to find delightful and unique things for everyone on my list. 
Nope, almost done myself. I have to buy gifts for 5 adults and 1 child and I’m DONE. Got all my hubby’s gifts, too. I also pick up gifts throughout the year. See something that’s perfect for someone? Buy it and stash it!

DONE 12/20? That’s when I start…
I’m almost done with all my shopping. My in-laws were in town over the holiday weekend and so we did lots of shopping. And since we’re going home for the holidays, I sent all my packages home with them to be put in the spare bedroom until Christmas.
I prefer the adrenaline rush that I get by shopping on the 24th. Hey, it’s all the excitement I get nowadays, after quitting all my drug use.
I’ve started thinking about shopping… wondering how tacky it would be to give gift certificates to everyone? I hate shopping and I hate it even more when I have to come up with something for people who I see maybe twice a year. 'Tis the season… <sigh>
I’m really not a grinch… Seems the last few years, all the joy is going out of the holidays. Even my daughter thinks it’s all a pain. so sad…
I know what you mean, FCM. Christmas has lost it’s lustre, especially when they start hyping it in August. I think gift certificates are a great idea. I tell everyone to just get me Lowes (home improvement store) cards so I can pick out my own presents. That way, I am assured of getting exactly what I want. If you give people gift certificates to the right stores, I think they would be very happy with that.
Like you said, shopping is such a pain. If I don’t give someone a gift certificate, I’ll order online or from a catalog and let the UPS person play Santa for me.

FCM, gift certificates are great! I love giving them and getting them. And when I do get one, I usually try to let the person who gave it know what I did with it. Lets them know that I really do appreciate the gift!
