Would someone please post some links or addresses to any American suppliers of chrome stove pipe and fittings.
I have an old style O’Keefe & Merritt gas range that needs a 2-4’ length of 4" diameter chrome pipe.
I also have an old gas heater that needs ~6’ of 3" diameter pipe plus two 45° angle rotating (variable angle) connectors.
I have hit a brick wall on Google and my attempts to contact a local stove expert have fizzled. Anyone who can track down a supplier of this product gets a free recipe request or menu planning assist.
I have no doubt that chrome stove pipes are harder to find than left handed, electric pine cone trimmers. Your best bet may be to find black stove pipe and take it to a bumper plating shop.
Chrome plating tends to turn blue when heated (see motorcycle exhaust pipes). Stainless will discolor a bit, but not as bad as plated steel. Insulated double-walled Stainless pipes should look good for years.
