To paraphrase a joke about the Escort:
You know how to stop a 1.6L PT Cruiser if the brakes go out?
Turn on the air conditioner.

BBF, that is one fantastic looking 'Stang. Good on ya mate!
Early Out, thanks about that Accord/Acura info. I have seen plenty of US Accords, and never could figure out why they looked so DIFFERENT from the Euro version. Now I know why - it’s a different car altogether.
'Bout that Stang, though… two questions. Firstly, are those original alloys? I’m guessing not - too “modern” looking. Still hunting for the old ones, or is it a deliberate choice?
Also, what are the two wires coming out of the grille, and onto the hood?
They’re for the hood pins, standard on the Shelby models I believe.
Aha! My lack of knowledge about American cars is showing.
Still, an old Mustang’s always a sight to behold. Very cool looking car, and I love the colour on BBF’s one.
My 55 year old mom loves her PT Cruiser. I hate it.
I went from my nicely powered 5 cyl 2.4L Volvo S70 to her golf cart of a PT (which weighs MORE than my vault of a car) but has a puny 4 cyl. 2L.
There’s also a HUGE post in the way when you go to make a head check on the driver’s side.
Blech.
But, she loves the heck out of the thing.
