Sorry, but I love it.
I love the way it looks. I like that vaguely 40’s look.
If I were on a position to buy a new car, and didn’t need something for hauling around the kids, that’s what I would buy. I don’t even know how much it costs.
I want one!!!
Oh, well, to each his own…
My mom works at a Chrysler dealership, and they had people putting down $2000 deposits to wait FOUR months and up for one of these. I think they’re kinda nifty looking, though they have zero pickup.
Let me explain. The automakers can’t give stationwagons away while SUVs are selling like hotcakes. And what is an SUV, for 90%+ of those who buy it? A cool-looking, but terribly ineffeciant and expensive stationwagon. Right? So, what is the Cruiser? A cool-looking stationwagon, that is neither inefficiant or expensive. I think it is a great idea, and hope it starts a trend. Millions of pounds less pollutants is a GOOD thing.
I think it looks like a hot rod hearse (but I understand I am in the minority; waiting for a right home the other day one drove by and every other man in line started drooling).
The Toyota Echo is also a horrible piece of aesthetics.
I think it’s kinda cool looking most of the time (and then sometimes I get a little queezy), but from everything I’ve read, it really really needs more power.
I think it’s one of the best looking cars that has come out of the US in the past 10 years! Well, together with the Plymouth Prowler. I’m taking a test drive in a few weeks time, although I have already been told I’ll be disapointed by the road holding. I told the dealer I currently drive a Peugeot 306, and he admitted the PT wouldn’t impress me as a well handling car then. But still, I love the looks. We’ll see how I like it!
This appears to be one of those things that has no middle ground–people either love it or hate it. My husband came across the website months ago and put his name in. We should get it in a couple weeks. I’ll let you know how it runs and anything else you might be interested in.
I like its looks–I like that retro feeling. Hearse? For midgets? Hahaha…cool.

I think it’s a cool looking car, but a friend of mine told me that it comes in one color only (purple), and that a lot of people have them painted first thing.
I think it’s a great looking car. As previously stated, it’s kind of 40ish with a panel truck look. It’s roomy, it has a lot of nice features, and it’s reasonably priced.
As also noted, it is underpowered. Chrysler is, however, coming out with a blown version for the 2002 model year. This should address the power issue, and one would hope the hoopla and price extortion would have abated by then.
It doesn’t come in beige, Libertarian. I did some research: click here to see the available colours. Some are really neat! I like it in silver, blue and black, although I must say the taupe looks nice too.
Dammit, I don’t even need a new car. But this thing has appealed to me since I first saw it!
