Yeah, as they don’t show it, it can’t be true!
I’m still fuzzy on how Morgan was going to get a lot of money for the DeLorean? They recovered the car, it was impounded…profit?
He said that the insurance company wrote it off for full Blue Book value, which I’m guessing is more than the $2500 he paid for it.
Typically, insurance companies wait at least 30 days before paying out on a stolen vehicle claim, in case it’s recovered for just such an instance as this.
But um, never mind…
He said he’d get the $2500 plus 10 G or 10 “big ones” or something, and said he’s rich. I assume that’s $10,000.
Too bad, I was looking forward to Awesome plucking him head to toe.
One wonders what Captain Awesome would do with the General Lee.
The consensus seems to be that Sarah let her father get away, but it doesn’t seem that way to me. She was told exactly what time the CIA would pick him up, was with him just before then, and sent him on an errand that would put him right in their path. Except that he took a right turn into the bushes and met up with Chuck instead. It’s Chuck that let him get away.
Sarah’s Dad would’ve been in the ice cream shop when the Feds arrived, which is why Sarah sent him away. The only reason he wasn’t further away than he was, was because he ran into Chuck and they started chatting.
Dad headed left and ran into Chuck. Sarah pointed towards the right when the cops showed up. I suspect when Sarah said “dad, make it two scoops” that was code for “I know you’re not coming back.”
