I claim that Chuck is the best new addition to the 07/08 line up. I’ve praised it before and when reading this thread I was trying to come up with a good reason I absolutely love the show.
I think the word is endearing.

I could be too cute and self-referential, but it’s not.
The mysteries are corny, but not enough for me to whince.
The love story is awkward, but never stupid.
It’s silly, but never embarrasing (sp?).

There are so many ways it could go wrong (I’m looking at you, Reaper), and yet, it always comes clean, somehow. It’s someone walking a tightrope, always on the verge of falling, yet it never happens.

Seriously, the mamms getting cammed were kinda out there though, and I don’t think of any of the ladies as “poor.” :wink:

Errmm, wrong. Very true in the real world (in my experience).

“Do you want to stop to eat?” = “I want to stop to eat” in female brain-speak.

Shhh, don’t anger them and don’t let them know we understand their code. They like to think we are in the dark and it is safer for us that way.
