Can you get up as many times you want as long as you don’t climax? Is there a point after which you have crossed the line if you are interrupted?
These drugs help make it possible for some men who have erectile dysfunction to get better erections after taking the med, and during the med’s effective duration. Exactly how well it will or won’t work (especially in regards to the precise parameters you request) is difficult to say.
So it more a case of 36 hours of increased ability to get erections than 36 to get an erection?
Pretty much. More like a 36 hour time period where one’s native physiologic ability to get an erection may be enhanced above one’s baseline.
Great username/post combo…
I’m trying to figure out the meaning behind it, because he claims its not a phallic reference. He seems to be dodging me though. I’ll pry it out of him somehow.
Cialis has a half life of 17.5 hours. Giving it one extra hour for the limited breakdown before it is fully taken up by the body right after you take the pill, that gives us 25% left after 36 hours. So the 36 hours is of course no hard limit.
It could be how long his username is in some font. (A font includes size information, a typeface does not.)
So how are Cialis and Levitra different from Viagra, which has no such claim?
Bump. I’d like to know if anyone can answer my question above.
What claim are you asking about?
Cialis has a halflife of about 17-18 hours, so can be effective in many individuals for 36 or more hours. Hence its nickname: The Weekender.
Both Levitra and Viagra have half-lives in the 4 to 5 hour range, and I’m unaware of any claims by Levitra to be significantly more long-lasting that Viagra.
Otherwise, all 3 drugs work by the same mechanism, selective inhibition of phosphodiesterase type 5. This causes the release of Nitrous Oxide in the erectile tissue of the penis.
They are also effective in reducing certain forms of pulmonary hypertension, via the same inhibition.
