  3. I light my stogies with it. But also, once upon a time a beautiful girl asked me for a light at a concert, and alas I had no lighter. Now I don’t leave home without one.
  4. I currently carry an orange Bic with an ampersand (&) on one side. My friends call it the “and” lighter.

It’s for lighting cigaretttes and warming keys when the door locks are frozen.

I have two chrome Zippos, one that I found and another I bought at a flea market.

I used to own a Thoeren automatic (circa 1930), it was the ultimate lighter with an art deco motif and a spring drive. I just did some looking around and this lighter I bought for $35.00 Cdn at an antique sale is worth well over $250.00 U.S. (It was stolen by a house guest).
