Not necessarily easy. The first thing that came to my mind was Belize. It took a few seconds before I remembered that the Bahamas was also British, and that it’s closer to the US. On Jeopardy!, a delay like that can be crucial.
Maybe it’s been mentioned elsewhere, but in reading the ***NYT ***article, it struck me that Cindy was actually *Dr *Stowell.
CNN did a very nice segment on Cindy, including an interview with her brother. Appearing on Jeopardy! had been a dream of hers, ever since she was a kid. And her goal was to win 100K, which she did.
