It is a very stressful show. But Alex’s stare isn’t the reason in this case. She had been fighting cancer for awhile.
Cindy appeared on Jeopardy to win money for cancer research. She’s won three days so far. I searched google and haven’t found out if she won again today (Friday). That would be 4 wins.
Cindy has won 39,600 in three days. Hopefully her winning streak will continue.
I’m surprised it’s taken someone this long to bring up the subject. I’ve been watching over the Internet with a day’s delay, since I’m currently overseas.
Cindy’s performance has been amazing so far. She’s shown remarkable calm and courage throughout. An amazing woman, pure class! May she rest in peace.
On Friday, her fourth appearance, she won with $22401 dollars, bringing her total to $62001.
I wouldn’t have been able to give the final answer. The category was “Western Hemisphere Geography” and the question, as best I remember the wording, was “what two Cental American countries border only one ocean?”
So when she eventually lost (as I assume she did), will the victor have to contend with people saying “Sure you beat her. She was only dying. Of cancer.”
Huh. That’s actually a question I could answer–unlike a most of Jeopardy. Though it helps that we had to learn every country in the world and its location back in my Montessori elementary school. That North America Map is burned in my brain.
My main issue was whether the island countries count. But, with two on the mainland, I figured not.
