Cynthia Rothrock was acting?
Just wanted to add my appreciation to Apos for posting that cinematic gem. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna douse my head in hairspray, rip my shirt off, oil myself up and go kick some righteous ass.

Holy crap.
Who doesn’t love hilarious eye trauma?
Not kid safe? Not kid safe??? You’re implying there’s some sentient being for whom that clip IS safe.
Okay the woman that comes in all towel-fu, thats a man right? Right?
Don’t you mean "Who doesn’t love hilarious eye trauma? :smack: "
Now we just need a slightly more elaborate version of the :smack: -smiley tearing off its shirt.
Wear protective goggles.
It is very unconvincing. Obviously low or unpaid extras. I still love the Sharpe series, mostly because of Sean Bean. It helps to have read the books first then you can fill in the blanks caused by the low budget of British TV. Who knew that Waterloo was fought by about 50 guys
. The books are very accurate where it counts.
I can’t imagine what you could add to that to make it sillier.
OK, OK. I put my foot in my mouth. I take back the part about the exploding cannonballs. But I stand by my general point that the scenes in general are really bad.
-Gagging- If it’s not too much trouble, could you find a punishment infinitely more violent and final than “Banning” ?? Say, Evisceration By Gang of Horrified Dopers?
Cartooniverse
( of course, kidding about the banning. Not so much, the eviscerating.
)
Let off some steam, Bennett!
You sir have no taste.
That one dude is Steve Carell, right?
I had no idea the guy was so multi-talented.
Pretty buff too.
Stick ya head out, John - I’ll blow it off. One shot, I’ll make it quick.
Bennett had the best dialogue:
I like hearing your little pissant soldiers trying to talk tough. It makes me laugh. If John were here, he’d laugh too.
The Most Dangerous Game, made in the 1930s, has a laughably bad fistfight.
The movie is really worth checking out if only because it’s so unbelievably bad. IMBD lists some great continuity goofs such as:
The review there also notes that “Stingray”…
I think we all owe you big, Apos, darling. I would never have known about the existence of either that site - which gave me a good deal of entertainment - or that particular clip. Which made me laugh and laugh, i tell you.
Thanks!
