Also, if the K with a circle is a registered trademark of Organized Kashruth Laboratories of New York, does that mean that the circled K gets a circled R?

No, and no.
If a product has a circled U followed by a circled R and a circled K, it means that it has been inspected by Urkel.
Those marks will likely be seen on cheese, too.
