Cite Your Favourite Saturday Night Live "Commercial"

No one mentioned one of my favourites: A.M. Ale, the breakfast beer

"You’ve just had a heavy session of electro-shock therapy, and you’re more relaxed than you’ve been in weeks… All those childhood traumas, magically wiped away… along with most of your personality.

Now is the time… Time for Spud! (Oooooh SPUD!)"

“Death Camp! That’s right, Death Camp! Just look for the barbed wire on the label!”

“From now on, it’s nothing but good clean fun… for me AND my uvula!”

“Port of call - Bayonne, New Jersey!”

You may recall a series of Budweiser commercials, each featuring a man in an athletic contest. They would start with a little internal monologue – “They don’t even know my name, they think I’m tired, yada yada…I can beat him…” – then the whistle blows, and muted trumpets play a repetitive fanfare and a not-really-soulful “bring out your best” is sung while the men run, leap, strive, whatever. By the final frames, the friendly rivals show their mutual respect. This was somehow associated with beer.

I liked The Lung Brush and the one that had Alec Baldwin advertising his Tony Little exercise program, where if you didn’t lose weight, he’d personally come and beat you to a pulp. It had a computer simulation with Chris Farley getting skinnier and more beat up.

Me too. And it’s been updated just in time for Xmas.

Nobody’s mentioned the rabbi performing a bris in the back of a luxury car?

Edible diapers!

Not only was it hilarious to be on set shooting it, but the Martha Stewart’s Topless Christmas Special remains one of my favorites.

Two weeks later I was shooting the real Martha Stewart Living show. Did I discuss my recent gig with SNL?

I did not.
