I guess this can go here as it really is pointless. Anyone else on City-Data.com? I like the forum part and there are some interesting topics in discussion there. I am a life long conservative although recent years has seen me heading more center of the road. I cannot stand the extremists on either side of the aisle. But this site seems mostly dominated by the conservatives which I am mostly fine with as places like Reddit are most definitely hard left. But on City-Data you see the same extremism from the right that bugs me about the left on Reddit. I saw one person defending Bannon to the point I finally told them twice they were a lunatic. (Posted it twice in response to their rambling). A mod messaged me and said I was now in time out for something like a week. When I posted “LOL” I had another week added and was told it would be permanent if I repeated this. While I do agree that I prefer civility over name calling I find someone on the extreme side just irritating and admittedly I lean towards telling them so. I was suspended and that I can handle as the site is not my life like it appears to be for some but I do find it humorous.
