You act as if I have to pick up another MMO to fill the void.
Eh, I don’t really think it’s going to affect anything for me… but I do wish that CoV wouldn’t poach too many CoH people (fat chance). If my lappy can run CoV then that’d be great, else I’m stuck with random pick up groups (some of which are… shall we say… mentally deficient).
As an aside, is CECIL still alive? There’s hardly ever anyone on the sg… 
Tabby, I only get on about 1 day per week now, but I’m usually up for teaming when I’m on, and I’ve got plenty of characters in most level ranges (on Virtue).
Consider yourself lucky your laptop can run CoH. My (work) laptop would choke on Doom I.

Tabby, CECIL’s still active. I try to get on 3-4 nights a week. Mondays, I watch Rome with Mrs. Magill, and Tuesdays are Nova/Cosmos.

One big thing right now is that CoV Beta testing is in full swing now. Once CoV is live, you should see the channel traffic pick up.
There’s your difference. Kinetics can make up for a -lot-. Besides, controllers recently became blasters with extra powers (due to the x2 damage thing). Try grav / bubble with only propel for offense. Then you’ll see slow.

Just wondering, do we have to actually get a boxed set of CoV? Or are our CoH accounts automagically upgraded to CoH/V accounts? Because I’m in the UK now and it’s kinda hard for me to get my hands on a boxed CoV set…
That’s because most of us are playing alts that aren’t in the SG and we converse via the CECIL global channel.
When we’re not testing CoV, that is.
I would imagine that the CoV client will be downloadable like the CoH client after the game is released.
I’m still around occasionally as well. Though I do spend more time on CoV than CoH these days.

@ Chinook Blast Stalkers do rule. Actually I like all the AT’s but I haven’t played Master Mind yet. They are just too popular.

Are you playing on Virtue? You need but say that you are available for a team, and someone will try and hook up with you. I’d be willing to team up with someone I can count on, so I can avoid the morons as well.
Word is that City of Villains will be in stores on the 28th, like its European counterpart, with the servers going live on the 31st and preorders getting access on the 29th.
