Belatedly I add… Civ II runs fine for me under XP, but I’m having a bizarre problem with the “Chat with other Kings” screen appearing so far up in the top left corner that I can only see the bottom corner of it, and can’t find any way to move it down 
However, that problem seems to be isolated to my computer, as it runs perfectly on Mr Cazzle’s XP machine.
