Actually I had an odd one.
I have a dual-boot Win2000Pro/98SE at home. Under 2000, the game installed correctly, but I couldn’t use it. When the opening menu loaded, the screen divided into three and the display was all wavy. In short, I get three (side-by-side) opening menu displays which are unreadable because they won’t stop waving back and forth. I tried changing resolutions, etc., but nothing I did got it to work. When I installed it under 98SE, it worked fine.
To my knowledge, my video settings are identical in the two operating systems. I also know that the game is supported under 2K.
Anyone have a clue?
Otherwise, I love this game. I’m already addicted to the point where I stay up late at night and say to myself “Well, it’s already 1:30, but I’ll play one more turn…”
