Part of me suspects Trump would like a few hours in a cell. Not too many, of course, but enough that he could yammer on about being arrested and persecuted.
Over in MAGA land there are many who really, truly believe this is political oppression.

Yes, which is why he always says he is going to testify and then backs out. Then blames the court and the system for not letting him tell his side of the story.

Why would Trump’s team want to question her?
That’s what I’m wondering–but more specifically, what are the chances that they’re not going to try to relitigate the question of whether the assault happened, and thereby draw the judge’s wrath?
i believe team trump is trying to say she enjoyed the attention that has happened. and that she is capitalising on trump’s fame.

Martin is done and they are breaking for lunch. Per CNN, the testimony seemed mostly to go over old ground and wasn’t really contentious. It’s still not clear if Trump will testify.
If Trump’s legal team is competent, they will have him locked in a bathroom stall somewhere.
