Earlier this year Carnivorousplant posted here about Classic Arts Showcase. I was unfamiliar with CAS at the time, but ran across this remarkable commercial-free phenomenon this week on my local public access channel. Already I am addicted.

Very unusual collections. My favorites so far have been Dizzy Gillespie with a friend who just squeezed out Nature Boy on the baritone sax and a sort of film noir Swiss version of Rhapsody in Blue.
Somestimes these run on PBS channels or public access, but they may be found elsewhere.
This is worth checking out. Are there any other Classic Arts Showcase fans out there besides Carnivorous and me?
