Claw Foot Bathtub/Shower source

Hello Everyone,
We are in need of a new bathtub/shower. The style we need is a claw foot bathtub (the free standing ones with the four feet) that has the shower ring above it. I have done a google search and there are a few companies that sell these, but since I have limited experience with these types of bathtubs I am unsure of what to look for and what to watch out for. Of course I want to get the best deal possible, so I am turning here to ask if anyone has any personal experience with these and might be able to recommend a place that is great on price and product.

Don’t know your location, but in the St. Louis Missouri area Henry Plumbing Supply always has had them on display.

Select bathroom and work your way down to freestanding tubs. Looks to be 30 or so listed.

We are in central Florida, with Orlando being the closest major city. I have found many online and don’t mind purchasing from an online retailer. But with something this expensive I prefer to use one that someone else can vouch for. We haven’t been too successful, trying to find a showroom around here with examples you can see. Most places can order them, but few seem to stock any.

Kohler has a line of antique style tubs, free standing on legs with exposed fixtures.

i don’t have that but they do make quality products. 7 dealers in or near Orlando carry their stuff.

Are there any architectural salvage companies near you? If so, this is the sort of thing that many of them carry.

I’ll second that you might want to look at architectural salvage yards, you can find some really cool things there.

You might also look at Heirloom-Quality Lighting, Hardware & More | Rejuvenation, they have clawfoot tubs. I have never bought a tub from them, but I have bought other items and they are always of excellent quality.
