here is a revised list of costume ideas, there is no need to panic, do not rush for the lifboats, women, children, Red Indians, spacemen and a sort of idealized version of the complete Renaissance Man!

My schedule is …different, these days, but put me down for most probably.

You mean we scared you the first time? This is the mildest group of dopers out there.
I’m really trying to make this one happen.
The only things that might hamper my attending would be my shitty car, and my paycheck for my last period of training wages (which is one step above indentured servitude). I know what I want my costume to be, and I have the bulk of it, but securing the necessary extras in time for the partay might be tricky.
Anyone from Columbus need a paying passenger? I have all my shots, and rarely bite. I’ll have to use a regular seat though. My human-carrier requires the use of an Expedition or Horse trailer. A regular seat is much easier.
Unfortunately, I’m out for this one. The GF has me booked for some event with her family.

Naw, you guys are nice. I just have a bit of social phobia. I get all panicky and anxious when I hang out with a bunch of strangers from the internet.

If you’re not freaked out - and if you’re not freaking out other partygoers - you just haven’t given enough thought to your costume.
Trying to think up a suitable costume, and then find the time to make it/assemble it…that’s the freak-out factor! It’s okay, I’m getting over the stress! I’ve been on cold medicine for a week…I blame that. I’ll be healthy by next week, I promise
