That’s actually a lower ratio than I would’ve guessed. Sad.
Republicans prefer to worship the military at Arlington. If you are not in a stone-garden, you are a nuisance.
Worship the dead and the not yet born. Those in between those two points can go hang.
Again. Like button needed.
Yeah, that was pretty good.
You don’t expect people to learn critical thinking until college? If someone hasn’t learned it by then, they won’t learn it then…
A further six out of eight was him glorying in how fantastic he thinks he is. (Which is probably even more sad).
But they also promised access to Trump which would violate the co-ordination rule between campaigns and PACs. Since the donation never happened, we’ll never know if the PAC was lying about their ability to influence the candidate but odds are, given everything we’ve seen so far this election, there’s a lot of off the books co-ordination going on.
Polling is useless right now. So useless…
Trump and Hillary tied 41-41%… oh, wait no, Hillary up by double digits!
As Nate Silver is fond of saying, the point of polling aggregates is that you don’t have to litigate every poll.
Is IBD more correct or is ABC News? There’s an argument to be made there but, if you combine them with all the rest of the data, the answer tends to shake itself out.
All the savvy people quit when they heard that Trump was forbidding them from doing opposition research on his past. Oh and and they didn’t even bother to grab all the relevant “.sucks” domain names. Trump.sucks and DonaldTrump.sucks were taken (by opponents of his, not his campaign!), but I just managed to snag “DonaldJTrump.sucks” and “realDonaldTrump.sucks” (his twitter handle).
Now taking suggestions for what I should put on them !
Actually, since 1960 his loss was a bit of a squeaker, it’s probably an indicator that Joe Kennedy should have given a little more thought to whether he was willing to pay for a landslide…
It’s long been observed that Republicans care deeply about human life from conception until birth; after birth, it’s on its own. Medicaid? Child health insurance? Education? Fuggetaboutit!
So it’s nice to know that there’s another side to Republicans, and they start caring again after death.
The unborn and the dead don’t cost Republicans anything, and they aren’t a threat, so they can be worshipped with all the passion of righteousness. The ones in between, though, are so freaking annoying that Republicans have to build gated communites to get the hell away from them.
Just redirect them. Send one to flcourts.org, one to etsy and one to ponymindbleach.com.
Now that the general public is becoming aware of it, I pity any legislator who opposes forgiving that debt. Unless there’s some angle I’ve missed, I predict it sailing through unanimously.
Dammit I was supposed to be productive today…
Sorry, but to my uneducated mind, it is an intuitive fact that if you want to add x% of y to y, you first have to calculate how much x% of y is. Then you add that number to y.
The fact that y is itself expressed as a percentage is admittedly confusing, but it doesn’t change the algebra.
I kind of see where you’re going with the flcourts one, but etsy and ponymindbleach ???
Yeah, ObamaCare might get slammed one last time. Wonder why they didn’t postpone that info release until, say, December.
Just, you know, some incomprehensible tangent. Ponymindbleach is like, “arrgh, more Trump, I need some kind of escape!”
