There can’t be polls that were taken after this story became public. We’ll maybe have an idea Monday or Tues if this is affecting the polls.
While I have little doubt this will affect her numbers, this story just broke less than 24 hours ago. How can there be reliable numbers already?

We’ll see. I think, worst case, this might make a few more people sit out the election. I can’t see it causing anyone to switch his or her vote. You’re a pretty partisan Republican-- are you now switching your vote away from HRC?
There are apparently some voters(about 5%) who swing with every little news story, if the poll movements are any indication.

Good question. If you’re not looking at aggregate polls, then that number is meaningless.

Yeah the race was definitely narrowing before this news. In the electoral college Trump is now within 2.5% in most of the states he needs on RCP.
I could see this knocking off a point maybe even two but Hillary will still probably pull through:
a) She has already banked in a significant number of early votes.
b) Her advantage in ground game, ad spend and surrogates remains enormous
c) She still has a blue wall left. Trump has closed in but that last state he needs will still be very difficult: PA, CO etc.
Apparently she did it because the polls are rigged:

I think it’s about as indicative as lawn signs or big crowds, or social media activity, for Trump. Not much either way.
And various noises will come out. Along with a frog or two.

This incident is interesting because of what it illustrates. This woman thought that you could vote twice simply by walking into another polling place.
I’ve had discussions (more like arguments) with people who insist that rampant in person voter fraud is possible, and they seem immune to logic. This woman illustrates why. They apparently have no clue as to how voting and registration work and believe that you can just walk in anywhere and vote. This woman thought that she could get away with voting twice for the same reasons that she thought it was necessary to do so.
This is what you get from the right-wing rhetoric about voter fraud; a dumbed down populace who thinks voting is like buying a pack of cigarettes - just go in any corner store and buy them - just go in any polling place and vote.
What it illustrates is this woman is total moron. Let’s examine the “logic” at work here:
a) The polls are rigged.
b) My first ballot is going be changed to a vote for the other candidate.
c) I must vote again!

But there are many “total morons” who seem to believe that it’s possible to do what she attempted, and to do so on a massive scale.
If you vote often enough, some will slip through.
