So now we have two examples of why voter ID is necessary! At least that’s what we’ll hear. Never mind that it’s unlikely it would have made a difference in either of these cases.
This country confuses me… Obama has like a 54% approval rating now right? So 54% of Americans approve of the job he is doing. Yet, HRC is only around 48% support nationally. So who likes Obama as a president but isn’t supporting HRC?
Is there any doubt that DJT will work his hardest to undo everything Obama has done over the last 8 years? Especially when (as most retired presidents do) his approval rating goes up even higher and DJT’s drop?
Makes no sense to me… who are the American voters??? What are we doing??
It’s not so confusing if you suspect, as I do, that at least 10% of that 54% approve of Obama largely by favorably comparing him to the two shysters running for President this time.
That’s about right. I’m in that gap, that would give Obama an approval, but not Hillary.
I probably agree with every position Hillary holds, more or less; but I think that she (and Bill) are shady, and she’s done nothing in this campaign to disabuse me of that notion.
So I’m holding my nose and voting for her. Hell, I even donated to her campaign, and I’m volunteering time to man the phones next weekend. Doesn’t mean I like her, much – I just loathe everything about Trump that much more.
Incidently, given the general tone of the press treatment of the events since Friday, I guess we can dispense with the notion that the media has been going easy on Hillary, right?
I just started a thread about this Slate article -
Which has details about how there’s a direct, clandestine, server connection between Trump Tower and a Russian bank called Alfa. It’s a long and damning article, showing the coordination between the two servers and the attempts to hide their connection once the questions started.
Here’s the thread -
This one is beyond pathetic. in 1996, Trump pushed his way into a ribbon cutting ceremony for a nursery school for children with AIDS and sat in one of the dais seats reserved for major donors, and he hadn’t donated a cent.
