Clinton v Trump - The Stretch Run Thread

It’s no surprise that between Trump and his team, the best form of attack that they could come up with is a version of 'Sexual assault? Everybody does it!", and keeping the pussy grabbing at the forefront of everybody’s minds.

Q: Are they still giving Kellyanne her Meth?

She’s more effective on CNN when she’s ranting like she’s strung out…

Sanders was right. Full stop.

In his support of Clinton, yes.

Too many words. Your next post should just be Sanders name, possibly misspelled, in all caps.

Its a dirty job, but Somebody has to plunge those horrific orange hair based clogs down the crapper.
HRC will do it though because she knows if she doesn’t that America will start to stink.

I’m more surprised that you’ve finally seen Trump as the piece of shit that he really is. Congratulations!!!

All over America, small children are asking, “Mommy, what’s a pussy?”

Go ahead, deny she’s cozy with Wall Street, or that she isn’t pro-free trade, or that she doesn’t support open borders.

I wonder if this will be the first Presidential Debate that gets stations fined by the FCC.

I’m kind of surprised I haven’t seen more along these lines, which I guess just shows that the Trumplings aren’t really Moral Majority types: “We can’t make the tapes and other evidence of sexual harassment an issue because children watch these things! And they take place on the sanctified public airwaves! It’s immoral!”

It would fit with the general tone usually taken when these issues come up: It’s impolite to discuss such things, so shut up about it before we call you “immature” and imply you’re a slut.

It fits with the general through-line, though. Trump’s bringing all of this dirty laundry out to air, and putting it on a clothesline strung fifty feet above Times Square. First it was racism, then it moved into the deep problems with the traditional definition of masculinity (McCain’s POW experience, and how Trump doesn’t like losers who get captured), and now it’s to outright sexual assault and everything tied up in that. He’s immersed in this culture, but he never got the whole memo: Keep it private, keep it deniable, and let others clean it up. You can survive in the public eye if you do that, and not the half-closed eye turned on a celebrity with no opposition research aimed at him.

Eh, I’m just wasting time until the debate begins.

What do all these fuzzy terms actually mean, other than “terms Steve Bannon wants you to associate with Hillary Clinton”? If you’re saying she’s had financial relationships with some Wall Street firms, or that she has supported some free trade policies, or that she has supported some policies that would ease immigration restrictions, then perhaps you’d also like to ask us where bears shit? Or what religion the Pope is?

Go ahead, deny Snaders supports her!

Both Bill Clinton and Trump are creeps who abused their power to take advantage of women. Who knows what these two were doing with their buddy Epstein. It’s also funny how so many of the politicians who criticized Bill Clinton were having their own affairs or in Hastert’s case abusing kids.

What does this have to do with Hillary, again?

Men, hold this L.

Go ahead, deny that he is a racist, misogynistic, mentally unstable narcissistic asshole.

Bolding mine.

Then again, Bill always did have kinda skanky taste. He could’ve had truly world-class supermodel type women. He’s the President for gawd’s sake. And he picked … Lewinsky?

So you’d expect a group of his conquests, now aged a good 20 years, to be pretty Springerific.
None of which is meant to say this is dirt that ought to stick to Hillary. Or even be thrown her way by a rational opposition campaign.

I completely disagree.

My home town: Bakersfield: the parallel-universe town where Donald Trump is still surging

God, I hate that town.

Which would have made a much bigger difference before the Democratic primary race was over. IOW the quip about Sanders being right to support Clinton suggests the difference if this story had come out at the time Sanders didn’t support Clinton but rather was hammering her on friendliness to WS and lack of conviction in her conversion to protectionism.

The ‘open borders’ thing in contrast wouldn’t have been a big deal in the primaries but would IMO have had potential against her, might still to some limited degree, in a general election less dominated by the subject of Trump. That’s fine with the Democratic base (agree, ‘no big deal’, ‘it’s too vague to be meaningful’ etc), but evokes a more negative reaction in the general electorate, not limited to Trump’s base. If there’s a lot of attention to it, but there hasn’t been.

What does cozy with Wall Street mean? It’s a nonsense phrase. It means whatever you want it to mean in the second you say it. Make specific intelligent claims.

Pro-free trade is a big fucking ground. Being for the concept of free trade doesn’t mean being for the specific language in the TPP.

Open borders. As an eventual goal, that’s a good idea. Doing it tomorrow, probably a bad idea. So fucking what?

Well look who just got shit canned.

I’m so glad I’ve already ordered a couple of these! One is for me and one is to sell someday…

And yeah, I also ordered a couple of the Hillary Clinton ones!
