Trump himself is now saying that polls done by a large number of independent professional private polling companies are ALL rigged. Every single one of them.
Even math is against him.
He is also telling supporters to go to polling stations “in those areas, I think you know what I mean”, to ensure there are “no problems”.
He has referred to “2nd amendment people” solving problems for him.
Trump is setting the scene for violent confrontations. As long as it gets him attention and power over others, he’s all for it.
I was tempted for about 6 seconds to actually sign up to be one of the poll observers for the Trump campaign. Not because I think there’s a problem, or want to help him, but just because i want to know what instructions he is sending out to people.
I expect a nothing less than a horror show over the next 4-6 weeks at least – yes I think this will go beyond November 8. How long? I don’t think anyone knows, but what we have witnessed is already unprecedented in our modern history and I think we will be seeing new precedents, and not good ones.
The silver lining is that I do honestly believe there will be enough people who will be forced with no choice but to confront the fact that they have voted for a monster, or that they will have enabled one by virtue of not voting or voting third party. And when these goons really do cross a line, there will be consequences for the republican party.
They may find they’re not nearly as fond of law and order and cops bustin’ heads when they’re on the receiving end instead of those Other people being the ones getting whacked and rounded up.
Yeah, a few stupid shits are gonna bring guns to protest marches. A few people; police, protesters, and bystanders, are gonna be shot.
Compared to the 1960s this’ll be kid stuff. To be sure a lot of Americans don’t remember that era. They’ll get reminded real quick.
Heck, this might be just what we need to disabuse the ammosexuals of the idea they represent some sort of bulwark of freedom rather than the nascent anarchy club they are. They’ll get rolled up by the authorities like nothin’.
It will be “must see TV”. That’s not a good thing, but sometimes bravado needs to be told to put up or shut up.
My concern is that there will be gun toting morons showing up in heavily Democratic districts and that there will be one or several instances of violence that will frighten people away from the polls, decreasing turnout in those districts.
I think there is a lot of overlap. Today i realized that someone on my FB feed is a follower of Milo Yiannoupoulos or whatever his name is. Guess how she is voting next month?
Kayleigh McEnany, who has been blowing Trump’s horn and saying we must believe the women who accuse Bill Clinton, says that Trump says he didn’t do it, therefore, she believes him.
Not for those women who choose to stand up, but fun for the rest of us watching Trump squirm and all the commentators such as McEnany contorting themselves into utter non-credibility on anything.
If Faux stands for anything other than criminality, now’s the time for them to embrace mainstream R-ism and turn their propaganda firehose directly on ending Trump’s run.
Not out of some sense of civic duty they certainly lack. But out of fear for the competition with Trump they’ll have for the same eyeballs once the election is over and Trump fakeNews / Adulation Network gets going.
This isn’t the kind of scandal that can be buried with another scandal. This is the kind of thing that has a trail. Now that the media have struck gold, they’re going to keep digging for more, and more, and more.
