There’s no such thing as “just getting your bell rung”. You don’t have to be knocked unconscious for a head injury to be serious. I mentioned Crosby above – he wasn’t knocked out.
The symptoms that you are describing are those of a concussion. And damn straight those “shake it off” days are scary. Look up CTE. (I’m a big hockey fan, and this has been a huge issue in the last few years. It’s also big news in football as well.)
You didn’t get your bell rung, dude. You had some serious injuries. And depending on how bad Clinton’s fall was, she’s wise to wait.
**Embassies **have Marine Security Guards.
The only **Consulates **I know of with MSG Detachments are Istanbul, Frankfurt and Hong Kong. I am sure there are others, but Benghazi was not one of them.
100% agree. Bush couldn’t do anything without some nutjob accusing him of doing it for some sinister agenda.
If they used the same cynical filter with Obama that they did with Bush, they’d already be accusing President Obama of masterminding the shooting in Connecticut to further his anti-gun crusade.
Yes, this has nothing to do with the administration not being transparent. The Republicans will continue to find a message that extends the outrage, regardless of what the administration says or does, and it need have no relation to facts. Even if the administration had promptly responded to every single request, there would still be calls claiming lack of transparency. It’s a propaganda exercise, and the administration gets nothing for playing along.
My point was that there wasn’t an equivalence. Either Bush was being unfairly demonized for everything he did, or Obama is being treated by the same people with kid gloves. Take your pick.
Shit, if Bush had been president, 2/3 of the people on this board would be implying (if not outright accusing him) of deliberately having Ambassador Stevens murdered to futher some evil conspiracy. At least Republicans seem content to believe that it was simple incompetance that got Stevens killed.
Are you suggesting that people on the left are more likely to imagine some sort of evil conspiracy behind the death of an administration official than those on the right? In that case, how do you explain the right-wing conspiracy mongering surrounding the suicide of Vince Foster?
I’m amused by these authoritative claims of what “would have happened” in some fictional alternate universe.
If McCain had beaten Obama, the very same people would be castrating themselves in the newly founded Church of Cybele, fastest-growing form of worship in world history.
You mean like the people who think Obama was watching the attack live via drone for several hours while ordering any military assistance to stand back and let it happen? That kind of “simple incompetence”?
I think you’re conflating Bill’s legal semantic nitpicking with the usual GOP tactic of repeating “I don’t recall” whenever forced to testify about anything. For a while there we all thought Alberto Gonzalez was experiencing early onset Alzheimer’s, based on the number of times he said that in relation to things he’d actually personally done.
This is like one of those worse case scenarios my grandmother was always predicting.
If you don’t drink enough water when you’re sick you’ll get dehydrated and pass out and get a concussion and then you’ll get a blood clot from the fall and then you’ll DIE.
