Cocko clock.
Cocko! Cocko!
Cocko clock.
Cocko! Cocko!
It’s a great idea. Instead of a screen saver, how about a web site. It works out viewer’s location based upon IP address and shows the local time.
The Old Vicarage, Grantchester.
Say, is there beauty yet to find?
And certainty? and quiet kind?
Deep meadows yet, for to forget
The lies, and truths, and pain?..oh! yet
Stands the church clock at ten to three?
And is there honey still for tea?"

(It’s a real place, and a real clock) although no longer stuck.
If you need another WI clock, count me in. I coulda sworn there was a big clock on the front of Lambeau Field, but I can’t seem to see it on the pictures I looked up.
I’m pretty sure there a clock tower in DT Appleton, I can get a pic of that to fill in one of the minutes.
Also, I know there’s some Bostonians here. There’s a huge clock down by the Long Warf that I think should be one of the 720 as well.
The “Four Faced Liar” of Shandon Steeple, Cork, Ireland, has four faces each stuck at a different time (assuming they havn’t fixed it).
How much would it cost to use a shot of the clock tower in Back to the Future for 10:04?
I’ll sort you out a photo of this slightly eccentric item.
Start at Wiki’s List of Clocks.
You could have a local photographer take a time lapse for a 24 hour period.
You’d have to resize your photos because the clocks faces are of different sizes.
Be a nice option for a Vista widget, too.
I bought a really cool wrist watch for my sister that has images of Belka and Strelka, two of the Soviet space dogs, on the face. If you let me know before October, I can take a photo of it set to any time you’d like!
Kind of like theHuman Clock?
I suspect most large universities have a large tower with a clock. Those would be a good source for many large clocks.
I didn’t know about that project. But yeah, kind of like that. Except that I just want the pictures for a 12 hour period, and that I want it to be very easy to see what the time is, eg. almost as easy as with an actual clock of that size.
I have a photo of the largest clock face in Europe at 5:31 if you’re interested. It’s a tricky clock to get a good picture of so it’s angled somewhat from below and one side, but I think you can use it.
I also have a medieval astronomical clock in my neck of the woods if you want me to snap a shot next time I’m around there.
