The Great World Clock Project

Some time ago I got an idea, and asked about your opinions on this forum. It was well received. Now I have found a graphic designer who is excited about the project, So I will attempt to carry it out.
The idea:
To make a digital clock consisting of images of separate clocks from all around the world. I will collect 720 pictures of clocks, one for each minute in the day. Each minute, the clock will then change to show the picture of a clock showing the appropriate time.
What I need your help for:
I need pictures from other countries than Denmark. The more well known and larger the clock, the better. The pictures should preferably be taken as straight-on as possible. Try to achieve good sharpness, and don’t use blitz. If the clock has a hand for seconds, that hand should be at 12:00. I would prefer to first get pictures of clocks between 17:00 and 18:00. If you have a picture, post the clock name and time in this thread, and send me an email with the picture attached.
What you will get in return:
If I use one of your photos, and I actually finish the project, I will send you a screensaver for free. If at some point I start a production of digital picture frames, I will sell you one for the production cost.

Sounds like fun. I’ll see if I can catch one of the Santa Barbara County Courthouse. It’s not super famous, but lots of tourists who have come through town would recognize it.

Count me in. I can do one of Big Ben, but I’ll have to time it right.

What a fantastic idea. I’d love to take part.

How important or famous must a clock be to qualify for inclusion? Obviously, you’re not looking for a picture of my alarm clock, but what about, say, the clock in my village square? - this one:

(that’s just a generic photo - I can capture one at the desired time if this is the sort of thing you’re looking for)

The clock does not have to be famous at all! I need 720 pictures, so as long as an outside clock, and the picture is good, I will (most probably) use it.

That clock looks delightful, Mangetout.

Another detail: I don’t need much of the building. The important thing is that the image of the clock circle itself is clear.

Here’s a 5:26 Santa Barbara County Courthouse photo.

Here’s a 5:46 Santa Barbara Old Town Clock photo.

I’ll get Philadelphia’s City Hall for you.
