Aww, Hell no.
Then if I bought a ticket, I’d have to jump.
$175? isn’t that about the price of a drink at the restaurant?
Add me to the list of people who are squeamish about stepping on the glass floor. I know for a fact it’s held in place by chewing gum. And not the good chewing gum that lasts but the weird stuff from China that’s made out of caterpillars.
Dar Robinson base jumped it, and later jumped it using a cable. Dave Osborne cratered it.
I’m not sure I’d go for that price, but I’d love to go out there! It looks like so much fun!
Love the Super Dave jump! Hadn’t seen that show in years!
YES!
Not because I claim to be not scared, but *because *it would be so scary. I’d have adrenaline dripping out of my ears. What a rush!
I hope the Calgary Tower people do this. But $175 is kind of steep.
Me and the girls had no problem on the glass floor but the wife won’t even go up to give it a try. However I have noticed playing Portal 2 that I get that tingley feeling in my thighs when I look down into the bottomless pits. Brrrrrrr!
I don’t like being on the second floor of my house. And I used to be a roofer :dubious:
Yeah, no kidding. You’re an hour’s drive away from climbing Mt. Rundle if you want to feel the wind blowing you into the abyss. $20 bucks for gas and another $20 for lunch, tops.
Same here. My stomach dropped just looking at that pic.
Are you like that Far Side cartoon, zoo snake keeper gets cumulative attack of the willies?
I don’t think this is for me, and not for that price. I used to love heights, but I’m liking them less as I get older and more cautious. An evolutionary thing, maybe? Take fewer risks as you get more sure of your own mortality?
That’d be cool as hell. I’d do it. I’ve always sort of regretted not climbing the Harbour Bridge when I was in Sydney, even though I didn’t have the time nor the money for it.
With a safety harness? Sure, no problem, I’d do it.
But then, I’ve flown at 9,000 feet in an ultralight that put less under me than that walkway. Specifically, an aircraft best described as a flying telephone pole with a seat bolted to it. Except it wasn’t nearly as wide as a telephone pole.
Yes, I have a respect for heights, but as long as I know I’m not going to fall it’s thrilling, not scary.
$175 to crap my pants in fear? I can do that at home for free!
I wonder how to I can get tickets.
Everything is on-line these days. CN Tower e-tickets. I’d guess they’ll add the walk when it is available.
Well, that’s kind of it for me. I never know that for sure. I always think I will fall. Or imagine myself doing so.
Plus, you don’t have to watch the Leafs lose!
No, but if the roof’s open, you might be able to watch the Argos lose!
