Coffee Cola

I accidentally poured a Coke into my coffee mug, which wasn’t completely empty at the time. Cola and coffee mixed, I took a sip, and Sweet Georgia Brown, it was delicious.

I I was thinking of ways to spent the truckloads of cash that were sure to come my way, what I would call the product (Casey’s Coffee Cola was the best I could come up with…), and how I would market it, when I Googled “coffee cola”.

Been done already. Visions of homes in Daytona, Tucson, and Sydney vanished, and my life long dream of making a quick and easy couple of million was crushed.

Have any of you ever had coffe cola? Was it good? Would I have made hundreds of millions, or just a few million?

There’s a drink out here in New England called Moxie – it’s the oldest continually-manufactured soft drink in the US. Used to be nationally sold, now it’s just a little regional thing, but it’s got some rabid followers. I’m one of 'em, actually. It’s kinda like your coffee cola idea, in that it sorta tastes like iced black coffee, not very sweet, and carbonated. Truly YUM.
