Hopefully someone can help me in my search; I remember reading a book, I think by author Joseph Hansen (no luck with Google search), about 2 Black Harlem detectives who think they are Chester Himes detectives and travel to Paris. Any help greatly appreciated!
Chester Himes moved to Paris and created Coffin Ed and the Gravedigger; I’ve read a lot of his Harlem crime novels but don’t recall one where they went to Paris. Not the most informative reply to your query, I guess, but there you go.
