Coldfire! Check this out! Droooool....

Coldie! I know you like your cars.

I’m hoping this will tickle your fancy. A fully restored 65 Mustang Fastback 2+2 - note the wheels and lowered springs etc. It sits unusually nicely. Some Mustangs from the era look like their noses are pointed skywards, but not this one.

Check out the interior. Very nice.

It only has the ‘C’ Code 289 in it, but it looks to have had some after-market work done to it. Certainly, Edelbrock makes everything you could ask for “off the shelf” to turn it into a 400+hp donk which runs on unleaded.

It looks to be a real sweet looking ride. I reckon you could fit some fine Dutch beer in that trunk actually. No room for a bike though… bummer.

Boo, are YOU the current bidder? How much is it going to cost to ship that monstrosity out here?

That is a sweet car, but if I’m getting one of those, I want the convertible. My dream car is the '65 in cherry red with the convertible top. Bliss!

RRRRRRRRRROWRRRRRRRR

Yes, this from a woman!

My first car was a 64.5 Mustang w/289, Canary Yellow with Black interior.

I loved that car. It was such a beaver magnet (very important when you’re 17).

I bought it for $3000. I sold it for $7500. I heard the buyer gave it to his 15 year old son and he wrecked it…That little bastard.

My dream can would be an old GTO that I could restore with my son. When he got old enough I would give it to him for his first car. I hope that restoring it with me would help him appreciate it and take care of it. Hmmm…maybe I’ll start lookin tonight on Autotrader’s web site. Nothing else to do @ 3:16 AM.

Fuckin double post…

sorry 'bout that. :frowning:

If a post contains the words “beaver magnet,” it’s impossible to post it too many times.

IMO, twice wasn’t enough.
Beaver magnet.

Happy

Well, after international shipping, and Customs, and Quarantine, and GST, a very pretty penny.

But hell! You only live once.

C’mon Coldie! I know you’re there!

You gotta promise to go “ooooh ahhhhh” OK?
