It looks like The NYC Dopers have noticed the number of people who intend to attend this nasty little soiré and are setting up their own party for January.

OK, now it looks like I’ll be driving in (rental car) from Vegas on Thursday evening (taking advantage of low fares to LV so I can extend my vacation by a couple days). Since nobody has rooms for that night as far as I know, I’ll probably crash in LAX and be available to chauffer people on Friday. Let me know if anybody still needs a ride. My only solid plans as of now are to pick up katiekilldare at 10:00 am, so I have plenty of time if nobody’s made driving arrangements yet.
I am now “definite”. Hell, I got round trip tickets, Baltimore to LAX, for $145, how could I resist?

Yay! More people! I’m of course skipping work and class! My educational career be damned! (heh, nah actually it wont matter :)).
Maybe NYC will whoop our asses, but i think we know how to party better than them (only because i am severely biased towards California, and NYers always think they’re the shit).

OK, so I’m assuming the 37 room joint is topped out. I’m calling my travel agent tomorrow to see if I can do it. What’s the next nearest campground?
Actually, beatle, I still think there are rooms open. You should snag one. Most of us are sharing rooms. 1- (I think) 5 to a room in many cases. Give the hotel a call before you make anything final.
Maybe we should start a room list so we know who is sleeping with whom. 
No…just to make sure they don’t overbook. Plus, if there’s only a few rooms left, I’d be willing to spring for one so we’d be closer to having the whole place.
I’ll volunteer if you guys want to send out roommate assignments.
