If I could come up with a ride and floorspace (and some cash!) I just might seriously consider it! I’ve never been farther down than Seattle and Spokane. I know I’ve barely met ya all, but I sure would love to come! I have my own air matteress and sleeping bag and I promise to leave the critters at home, although since California is full of assorted livestock I won’t promise not to smuggle something back!

I drove from Bellingham, WA to L.A., CA last month. It took 19 hours. Add another hour to get from Vancouver to Bellingham (if you don’t have to wait too long at the border). Best bet would be to RON in Redding or Anderson, so it’s a two-day trip.
Or you could fly, which would take about three or four hours plus a couple of hours at the airport.
Well, the non-LA portion of the board isn’t reading this thread, so there’s no way they understand what their duty is. I’ll have to start a different thread to let them know. Or you can. What shall we title it?

If you don’t mind spending some cash for a ticket, you’re more than welcomed. Since we basically own the hotel for the weekend, it shouldn’t be a problem for you to bunk with one of us.
