Well, I’m leaving for Vegas tomorrow, so I’ll be without internet access until the Dopefest. If anybody wants to plan something for Friday night (or Thursday, for that matter, if anyone’s gonna be in town), let me know. Also, I’d definitely like to check out the Tate at some point during the weekend - anybody have anything concrete on that excursion?

Thanks to Shayna for finding us a motel and a place for dinner. Also thanks to Shayna and Sue for working on getting us a late night party room in the hotel up the road. Thanks to Padeye for getting our rental car. Uh, you are getting the rental car, aren’t you Padeye?

I got my work schedule, so I’ll be discussing things with Spoofe and our parents.
Right now, it looks like we will drive in late Friday (after I have work and have cashed my paycheck 
), pass out drunkenly, wake up hungover, stumble through the day in a haze, eat food, drink more, and hopefully pass out there again, and leave sunday.
However, if I work Sunday…
I’ll call in sick. 
I’m into doing the Getty on Saturday. It is a spectacular place. Definitely worth more than the price of admission.

Just a word of warning: My appearance is starting to look REALLY shaky, what with my financial situation (or lack thereof). I can most likely make it to one of the days (most likely Saturday) but given the fact that I have zero cash (and have been practically living entirely on the good graces of others), more than that is unlikely.
I’ll keep trying to scrounge up cash. Maybe a quick bank heist on Thursday is in order.

Probably the new one, since the one on the PCH is closed for the time being. Hmmm… on second thought, that might not be such a bad idea. We’re a bunch of smart people. We could figure out how to get in there. And we could solve Spoofe’s money woes with just one or two paintings. So whaddaya say, people? Anyone else up for a life of crime?
The Getty is a huge museum - the old one was in Malibu, and they are currently renovating it. The new one is known for it’s architecture and spectacular views as well as the collections.
Uh, yeah. Count me in.
