Screw Tide.

Agree with the rest of your assessment and cast my vote for orange marmalade.

eta: or blackberry - very tough call.

You might be surprised to discover that most of the rest of the world hasn’t ever even had PB, much less PB&J! It’s only in America that we see fit to regularly dose our children with sugar-on-sugar sandwiches.

I get Smucker’s brand, and it’s non-chunky. I refuse to eat blackberries or anything made with blackberries, precisely because I don’t want to spend the rest of the day picking the seeds out of my teeth.

Probably because the rest of the world has real grapes, not your foxy Concords.

Oh, no you didn’t just go insulting PB&Js.

strawberry? blackberry? grape abominations?

piffle.

chokecherry jelly, made from chokecherries hand-picked under the Saskatchewan blazing sun, on the banks of the Mighty Wascana.

that’s the ticket!

Just wait until the Nutella and Vegemite constituencies get here.

Marmalade is the only way. Seville orange or lime, please. Jam is for lightweights, and “jelly” for foreigners, or children’s parties.

Vegemite is Satan’s toejam. Now Marmite, that’s the ticket.

Although for toast, it’s hard to choose between Marmite and anchovette. Do other countries (other than the UK, with their “Gentleman’s Relish”) have this style of fish paste? Because you’re missing out if you don’t. It is divine.

Of course, it goes without saying that Nutella is the bomb. Although on toast is not its best use.

I’m an orange-marmalde man myself.

Voulez-vous frottis gelée sur moi ce soir?

My dog ate half a bowl of strawberries and blueberries yesterday. I’m sure he’d have something to sway about this. (does he have to have his own account to post here?)

I prefer cherry jam/jelly.

At the moment, we have open some wild-blueberry “spreadable fruit,” which is quite lovely.

Yes? You called?

Never tried nutella and vegemite together. Hmmm…

Grapes can be dangerous for dogs to eat and now I’m concerned that blueberries might be as well (but I am not speaking from knowledge on dog blueberry interaction.)

I hope I am wrong, but it might not be a bad idea to investigate it.

Everyone knows boisenberry is the shit. Anyone who thinks otherwise can fuck themselves with a rusty chainsaw!

Toe jam is all the rage, now.

Pearl Jam.

Is that only available in Idaho?
