College Republican punches Kerry supporting teacher's foot with his leg

First, he has the nerve to smack her foot with his leg just because she didn’t like his pro-Bush shirt. Now, Fort Lewis College student Mark O’Donnell is refusing to accept Maria Spero’s plea of ignorance.

Lucky for her that her knee jerked, else his leg might have struck her book bag. At first, she was angry that he didn’t slap her foot with his penis:

The university didn’t even apologize to her, and instead made O’Donnell out to be the victim. And the cops, believe it or not, are issuing a misdemeanor summons to her. Next thing you know, Republicans will be slapping people’s hands with their faces.

It took me far too long to get that.

Count yourself lucky. I’m still trying to figure it out. I mean, I get the whole victim-agressor reversal bit, but the actual point, not so much. Is this some sort of “true colors” rant, or what, exactly?

Oh, it’s just a good-natured asteismus epitrope.

That’s easy for you to say.

It wasn’t even easy for me to read.

I was going to bitch about having to read about every single incidence of meanness by anyone remotely connected to a political group. Now I’ll just give my usual response to Liberal - confused disbelief.

It’s one of those confession things:

My name is Liberal, and I’m barking mad.

Another PR hit for the political party of tolerance and acceptance. Man, that’s a shame.

Just goes to show you the new depths to which the Repugs have sunk. I mean, installing shoe magnets in their shins that attract only Democrat footwear? Brilliant, yet despicably evil.

The after-work physicist in me cannot help but wonder which force is at work here. Did the GOP conduct secret research to determine the true nature of gravitation, alter the properties of the gravitic particle/wave to reflect not upon mass but upon a certain combination of personal belief system and leather, and multiply the force/distance ratio billionfold? Did they instead determine a way to apply the strong nuclear force not only to a particle, but to a macroscopic quantum system of their own definition, allowing them to apply a split-second attraction in the geometric center of the airspace between foot and leg? Is it evidence that the next step toward Unified Field Theory is contingent upon the progeny of George W. Bush ascending to the presidency?

Inquiring minds want to know.

OK. Here’s the actual story.

Some white racist asshole pubbie shows up wearing a T-Shirt that says “College Republicans: Work for us now … or work for us later”. He gets a kick in the shins from a Latino teacher. Boo fucking hoo.

Shove your “tolerance and acceptance” up your ass, you sad, sorry, fuck.

Worthy of a T-shirt in itself, IMO.

Uh…

points to mouth

Pie goes in here.

STOP THE PRESSES!

Smarmy partisan pisses off hot-tempered partisan. Incredibly mild violence ensues, followed by apology. Film at eleven!

How on earth is this remotely newsworthy?

Daniel

Unless I’m being whooshed --which is entirely possible as I’m posting pre-caffeination-- I’m going to have to ask for a cite on the bolded material, please.

Thanks.

Because if any liberal ever acts with anything less than total Jesus-like tolerance of even the most obnoxious asshole conservative, it’s proof that all of liberalism is a sham. I think that’s what “Liberal” and Bricker are trying to say.

The racist charge is a crock of shit. But the asshole charge seems pretty well-supported: that T-shirt isn’t one that’s worn by a decent human being.

Daniel

This is what it comes down to: against piles and piles of underhanded voter suppression tactics by the GOP, all the GOP partisans have to complain about is the isolated behavior of a few individual Dem partisans.

Yeah, it’s wrong and I’ll condemn the behavior, but so what? I can’t even keep up with all the bad shit that the GOP has been doing from coast to coast.

Here’s something to brighten up your morning: in which the FL GOP is more stupid than evil, but mostly really really desperate.

I’d like to know Bricker’s reaction to widespread chicanery by the GOP. Since he’ so shocked and horrifed by one Democratic partisan’s misbehavior, I’m sure he’ll denounce massive vote suppression and downright fraud orchestrated by the RNC.

“O’Donnell said the apology wasn’t enough and he plans to file a complaint with the college.”

I thought the Republicans were opposed to things like frivilous complaints and litigation? The bonehead Democrat apologized for her action…but “an apology is NOT enough”?

Huh.
