I see from other threads that apparently degrees are being really dumbed down. It could be a fun experiment if you set an assignment, ideally something that won’t take more than about quarter of an hour, tops, and then SDMB members answer it - then you grade their work. The idea being to see just what a certain level of effort/competence is “worth”.
As an alternative, anyone brave enough to post an actual assignment they set, and the best, worst, and median paper/answer submitted for it, and what marks all three got?
