My small non profit just got a letter from Ameritech inc, a “settlement” of a class action suit related to line backer services.
It is a card, good for 13 minutes worth of pay phone telephone calls in 5 states (well, sort of, only for local and toll calls only).
Of course, for $0.35 per call, I can make local calls from any pay phone in the same area, and for an unlimited amount of minutes.
Oh, and by the way, said phone card is only good at “Ameritech” payphones in this region.
Good thing I didn’t quit my day job waiting for this.
