Hi, I have been watching old WW2 Documentary Films on TV and i got into an discussion
were my Friend says that this Film material was shot in Black and white and then was Colored afterwards, wheras i say that they were shot in Color, who is right?
A lot of WWII film- especially stuff from the Germans in North Africa and the early Russian campaign, and the American campaign in the Pacific Theatre- was actually filmed in colour. There’s a wee bit of stuff from the British in colour too, FWIW.
