just a real quick observation. i made this exact same point in space hijack (i think)regarding story. boy, did i get my head handed to me in the unspoiled thread by sach. of course, i was scum and wanted the fucker out of the way. while i agree that story and mhaye can be scary fucks. they typically are the scariest when you are scum. that’s why i’ve never wanted to leave them alive for long if i am not town. so fucking terrible reasoning and conclusion. not so much to warrant a vote but pretty durn close. and yeh, i am voting mhaye but that’s because i really think he is scum. his hop onto dc just didn’t sit right as well as the post i already referenced.
just a personal observation. i’d love to be three handed with the two of them and me confirmed town. they could use all the logic in the world and i’d probably still coin flip it. either that or make them post pics of themselves in ballerina tutus to prove their towniness.
in response to the whole what went down at Night. instead of saying i didn’t kill insert name i really should have said that i didn’t target insert name.
now that can mean that i targeted and was blocked or it could mean that i just sat on my ass.

Okay, sorry, a little slow here. So clearly the scum killed the NKs and you’re saying you could have targeted someone else but you might have been blocked, or you could have just done nothing.

My apologies folks. I have a few free days (one fo the reasons I wanted Day 3 to end on Tuesday was that I would have time to re-engage and make some posts.
Let’s start with commenting on Peeker’s vote for me - which I also missed.
Taking my post as a whole, rather than looking at first one statement then another in isolation, it should be quite clear that I was not certain that Pedescribe was the SK. That was, in my opinion, the most likely probability. I considered, and discussed, other possibilities - including, but not limited to, the possibility that Pede was the Vig and Peeker lying through his teeth. I decided that, irrespective of what Pede was, lynching him was the correct path. That holds even if Pede was the Vig.
Also, after Evil Dead, I’ve formed the opinion that as scum it’s not worth lynching a suspected SK until midgame. Two Town by the SK shorten the game by one Day, and for the scum that is a desirable result. It adds extra time pressure to the Town. Thus, if I was scum, I probably would have voted you.

Actually, when I’m scum I’m LESS scared of Story and not afraid of Mhaye at all, because I’ll KNOW what they are. And if I’m worried about Story, well there’s always Night two, no? What can I say, I love the classics. **Mhaye **just has a steady consistent style (which I recall) as he’s a great town player, and I just happen to always think he’s town, which inherently makes someone suspicious to me. That’s why I hate it if he’s scum, because his original strategy- steady, logical posting, and his late posts/votes are something he does regardless of what he is. Always SO hard to read.
Gotta respect both of them for their chops @ Mafia.
As for Sach- he’s an easy person to manipulate.
He’s too likely to believe in logic and what’s best for scum. All you have to do is be unpredictable to beat him- something I LOVE to do with him.
But yeah, fun times to play with these guys again. The kill comment is just because those two are some of the players who I ALWAYS feel so dirty trusting because I always want to trust them, ya know? Just a sign of respect and nothing more should be read into that.
With the extra time and holiday/moving chaos, I need to take a look in a day or two with fresh eyes.
I also read Peeker loud and clear as to keeping the scum guessing as much as possible, but I’m not yet able to see his case on Mhaye with as much absolutism and vigor. The case has potential but, again, I need to look closer.
well that is cetainly not the intent. i just know that based on the structure of this game there exists facts certain folks will know and others will not.
