Columbia Accident Investigation Board Report. Who's Read It? What Do You Think?

Volume 1 of the report can be found in .PDF format here. It’s a ten meg file, so those not wanting to download the thing in one massive chunk can do it chapter-by-chapter here. I haven’t made it all the way through it yet, but it’s very clearly written and seems to be the ideal model for how such a report should be written.

I have read chapters 2 and 3. I agree that the report is well written and is very understandable for the non-specialist.

I’ll have to read more later.

I think that says it all right there. Internal problems, sure, but plenty of external pressures as well.

Still reading it though. As others have mentioned, accessible and readable, and very telling.
