while cleaning out my room, i found a combination lock. its not on anything, but i would like to be able to use it. its not a Master brand,it doesnt have any brand name or serial number. nor does it have the combo on the back. anybody know how to open it?
0 - 0 - 0 ---- damn!
0 - 0 - 1 ---- damn!
…and so forth…
i should mention its a rotary, or spin type. so it gonna be like 30, 15, 4 or something
Would you really want to use a lock that someone could so easily open?
no, but i would rather have an easily solve-able combination than lose the 2.50 i spent on the lock. hopefully i will encounter a lazy theif and have the best of both worlds
Here’s a couple links that might be helpful. They’re all from www.howstuffworks.com.
For starters, take a look Inside a Combination Lock.
Once you know what you’re up against, you could move on to lockpicking in general
If you’re an overachiever, maybe you could move on to a new career?
Good luck!
